Preparation Tips
Step 1
Using scissors, clip open corner of Bari Au Jus bag.
Step 2
Pour contents of bag into saucepan.
Step 3
Using spatula, scrape the remaining contents of bag into saucepan.
Step 4
Bring Au Jus to boil.
Step 5
Once boiling, turn off heat and allow to cool 3-5 minutes. Approximate serving temperature is 165° F.
Step 6
After removing beef from its package, place Bari Beef in Au Jus for about a minute.
Step 7
Remove beef and place on a french bread roll.
Step 8
Dip sandwich in Au Jus for a “Wet Italian Beef”.
Variations
Variation 1
Add shredded mozzarella cheese on top of your beef sandwich and place under the broiler until the cheese is melted and browned for a "Cheesy Italian Beef".
Variation 2
Top with Bari's Giardiniera for a “Hot Italian Beef” or top with Sauteed Sweet Peppers for a “Sweet Italian Beef”.
